Task: Review obstacle placement, create more enjoyable holes with the potential for a good pace of play, improve maintenance efficiency, examine mowing lines and cutting heights, provide suggestions for new tee placements in preparation for switching to the hectometer system.
Masterplan
Here's an excerpt from the Masterplan:
"I have identified 119 proposals that you can actually implement immediately and 7 proposals that I think you should consider for the long term. My suggestions will make the course more aesthetically pleasing, several holes will become visually clearer, and many will be more playable for golfers who can only hit low shots. The club's average handicaps are 22 for men and 30 for women. I have thought a lot about the average player in my recommendations. However, I believe that even the highly skilled players will appreciate the 'new' look the course will have if you choose to follow my recommendations.
There will be less congestion on holes 11, 15, and 16, and I believe the total round time will decrease by 10 to 15 minutes. This is in line with the club's desires.
Your vision - 'People smile and look forward to returning to Kårsta Golf Club' - is something I very much agree with. I believe that many of my proposals will increase the smiles and the desire to come back. Golf should be fun in my opinion. The game is inherently quite challenging for most players, and if it's possible to make a golf hole more enjoyable for more people, I think you should do it. Many of my suggestions align with that philosophy."
